What is the difference between mineral sunscreen and chemical sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreen, like Lulo Skin's Hydrating Sun Defense SPF 30, uses Zinc Oxide as its active ingredient to create a physical barrier on the skin that blocks UV rays. Unlike chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV rays, mineral sunscreens reflect them away from the skin, making them a gentler choice for sensitive skin and providing broad-spectrum protection without the risk of irritation.
2. Is this sunscreen suitable for sensitive skin?
Answer: Yes! Lulo Skin Hydrating Mineral Sun Defense SPF 30 is formulated with gentle, nourishing ingredients like Squalane, Avocado Oil, and Chaga Extract that provide hydration and soothing benefits, making it an ideal choice for sensitive and irritation-prone skin.
3. Does this sunscreen leave a white cast?
Answer: No! Unlike many traditional mineral sunscreens, our Hydrating Mineral Sun Defense SPF 30 is specifically designed to blend seamlessly into the skin without leaving a white cast. It provides effective sun protection without disrupting your natural glow.
4. Can I wear this sunscreen under makeup?
Answer: Yes! Lulo Skin Hydrating Mineral Sun Defense SPF 30 is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, making it the perfect base for makeup. Simply apply it as the last step in your skincare routine, before applying foundation or makeup.
5. How often should I reapply sunscreen?
Answer: For optimal protection, we recommend reapplying every 2 hours or more frequently if you are swimming, sweating, or towel-drying. Make sure to apply generously to ensure full coverage.
6. Is this sunscreen water-resistant?
Answer: No, this sunscreen is not water-resistant. For continuous protection, reapply every 2 hours, especially if you’ve been swimming or sweating.
7. Does this sunscreen protect against both UVA and UVB rays?
Answer: Yes! Lulo Skin Hydrating Mineral Sun Defense SPF 30 provides broad-spectrum protection, blocking both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays to help prevent sun damage and premature aging.
8. How much product should I use?
Answer: To ensure proper sun protection, apply a generous amount to your face and neck—about a nickel-sized amount or more, depending on your individual coverage needs. Make sure to cover all exposed areas and reapply as necessary.
9. Is this sunscreen reef-safe?
Answer: Yes, our sunscreen is reef-safe because it uses mineral-based Zinc Oxide, which is a safer alternative to chemical sunscreens that can harm coral reefs and marine life.
10. Can I use this sunscreen on my body as well?
Answer: While this sunscreen is formulated for the face, it is safe to use on the body as well. For full-body coverage, we recommend using a larger amount to ensure sufficient protection.
11. Is this sunscreen vegan and cruelty-free?
Answer: Yes! Lulo Skin Hydrating Sun Defense SPF 30 is vegan and cruelty-free, made with natural, organic ingredients and never tested on animals.
12. How long does the sunscreen last once opened?
Answer: We recommend using the product within 12 months after opening for optimal effectiveness. Check the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging for more information.

Why Does It Come In Such A Small Bottle? This product comes in a very concentrated gel. Most skincare brands use water in their formulations (remember, ingredients are listed in order of concentration, so if you see water or aqua as the first ingredient, it means that 30 to 80% of the formula is actually water!!). We prefer to avoid water and create a super concentrated formula that you can mix with water. Use a portion smaller than you would normally use for other cleansers, half a pea size will suffice (one pump).

What Makes This Product Special? We use gentle ingredients to naturally clean your skin without causing sensitivity. Also, we use sea salt that is loaded with minerals and nutrients that your skin needs, these minerals not only clean the skin but also enhance its texture and keep it healthy. As if this wasn't enough, its antibacterial properties will prevent breakouts and acne.
-
What Is The Brown Sediment In My Bottle? You see some dark brown or black sediments in the bottle? No worries! Since we use natural, cold-pressed ingredients, it is normal to see sediments from plant fibres, seeds, or fruit extracts after the product settles in the bottle. The sediments are not only harmless, but they are intentionally kept in order to preserve the integrity and effectiveness of the ingredient.

Is It Safe For All Skin Types? Yes, it's carefully designed to be used for all skin types and to be used every day without striping away you skin's natural oils.
